Q: Is it large enough to cover a dinner plate?
A: The Hover Cover Splatter Guard is large enough to fit most plates, bowls and dishes. It measures 11.5". (Raised feet help it cover large platters too!)
Q: Are the magnets safe?
A: Yes, the magnets are Polymer-Encased, which makes them safe for use in the microwave.
Q: How does it work?
A: Microwave-safe polymer encased magnets adhere the cover to the top of your microwave.
Before cooking, simply pull down to cover any microwave-safe container.
After cooking, just lift the Hover Cover™ Splatter Cover back to the top of the microwave.
Safety
Use only in standard microwaves.
Do not use in ovens, convection microwaves, toaster ovens, on stove tops, hot plates, browning dishes or heating elements.
Do not use in microwave for longer than 10 continuous minutes
Remove the cover from the microwave if cooking or defrosting time requires the microwave to be in use continuously for over 10 minutes.
Avoid burns from hot dishes and steam
Microwaved dishes can become very hot and produce steam both of which can cause burns. Be sure to use oven mitts or a similar form of protection when handling.

in a microwave where the original turntable has been damaged or removed.
if the container to be microwaved is too large.
if the cooling vents or other components essential to the operation of the microwave are blocked.
